LSRCC 2025 Pumpkin Carving Contest Rules
Only kids and there family can do the Pumpkin contest and adults must be involved coaching and making sure they are being safe.
LSRCC will provide pumpkins for those that sign up for the contest by September 30h. Only families entered to race the event are allowed. See Gary for sign ups.
LSRCC will NOT provide any equipment for carving the pumpkins so come prepared.
LSRCC will judge the contest and awards to at least the top three.
All contestants will do the carving at their pit spot.
All contestants will be responsible for cleaning up the mess made.
All contestants will be required to take home the pumpkin or dispose of it.
Feel free to use lighting to enhance your creative work.
Pumpkins will be numbered and we will record the number so we know who did the carving when the judges do the judging.
LSRCC will put an area to get a picture of all the pumpkins and the kids to post and keep for our records of things we try to do for family fun on events that can make for a long day.
Over the past two years we have had great creativity and that is the fun side of the contest so the bad side is the mess and not having adults involved with their kids so the pumpkins will be given to the contestant after the pit meeting and all pumpkins will be put in a judging area before the third qualifier so the judges can judge the contest and then the contestants can take the pumpkins home or dispose of them.
