New Club Website Tips

Dear LSRCC Racers!

On behalf of the club officers, I want to thank you for creating an account on the new club website! We appreciate your help as the club makes this big change to our event management. This email contains some information we hope will help you take better advantage of the new system and improve race day for everyone.

  1. Payment of race fees has not changed. After signing up for an event you need to use PayPal Friends & Family or cash (place in envelope in the cash box) at the race to pay your fees. Please include a note about who and what you’re paying for anytime you make a payment not whether you’re using cash or PayPal.

  2. Our Club Treasurer (Nick Lavato) is the source of payment truth. Your payment is not complete until Nick Lavato has it (either via PayPal F&F or cash at the event). The confirmation from the website signup is only that you have registered for the event, not confirmation of payment.

  3. The amount displayed on the website is not official. An incorrect amount may be calculated on the website while we are working out some kinks. Pay the correct amount. If you are unsure what the correct amount is, please ask (Adult: $15/$5/$5; U18: $10/$5/$5; Club Members: $5 off first class).

  4. Each racer needs their own account on the website. There are technical reasons for this. Fortunately, you’ll only need to create the account once. Benefits of having your own account include faster signup on future events; the system will remember the classes you signed up for last time and will prefill the signup form the next time!

  5. Family Membership members can add additional family members. You can add your family/household members to your family membership, so they can enjoy the membership benefits too! Here’s How:
    1. Create an account and sign up for a Family Membership.  This is the primary account for your club membership.
    2. Log in with the primary account.
    3. On the main menu click ‘Account’ -> ‘Manage Family Membership’.
    4. Click the green [+ New] button.
    5. Select whether you are creating a ‘New User’ or adding an ‘Existing User’ (they already have a website account).
    6. Complete the rest of the form fields and click the [Save & Close] button.
